The University area is the second organized greenway run that CRC hosts. Like the popular Little Sugar Creek Greenway Run, this event is held once a month on Saturday mornings. Please check the home page, the calendar page, or the CRC social media pages (Instagram or Facebook), for the next upcoming dates and times for this event. 

The start location for this run is Mallard Creek Elementary School, Address : 9801 Mallard Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262. The parking lot offers direct access to the greenway and a portajohn if needed. Other shopping center parking located within .6 miles walking distance is also available if needed.  

For anyone who is new to the area, this gorgeous greenway system begins with Clark's Creek Greenway at a small neighborhood access point at the bottom of Fairlea Ln. It then transitions into the Mallard Creek Greenway, which ends at Kirk Farm Fields. Off of Mallard Creek Greenway is the option to add additional miles via a turn onto Toby Creek Greenway, which runs through UNC Charlotte's campus and across Hwy 49, ending at the corner of Rockland Dr and Autumnwood Ln.
