LITTLE SUGAR CREEK GREENWAY RUN

The August edition of the Charlotte Running Club Little Sugar Creek Greenway Run will be Saturday August 12th @ 7am.

Brian Mister with Around the Crown 10K will be joining to answer questions about the biggest 10K of the year taking place on Sunday Sept 3rd. If you are not registered yet, the Charlotte Running Club has a special code good for $15 off the current $55 entry fee for members of CRC. Just log into our website and access the Race Discounts page under Club Info.

For anyone who hasn't joined for this monthly run, this beautiful greenway goes south from Tyvola Road to the Polk Historic Site for nearly 7 miles and the new extension to Pineville Lake Park and beyond is now open for even more miles if you need them. There's no set distance for this run since you can turnaround at any point.

Water will be available at several spots along the greenway and at the start / finish. Pineville Lake Park at 8 miles has restrooms and water fountains.

The Charlotte Running Club will continue to host a monthly gathering at the Tyvola Rd access to the LSC greenway and we encourage EVERYONE to attend no matter your level of experience or ability. Our runs and events are (and always will be) free for anyone to attend. Membership to the Charlotte Running Club is not required.

As much as we would like to, we cannot guarantee that all runners who come will match up on pace. Please feel free to bring a friend to run with!

We meet at the parking lot off Tyvola Rd (address below) and leave out just after 7:00am. Please arrive early to ensure you can find a spot in the parking lot. There’s plenty of additional parking across Tyvola at the Queens University Sports Complex as well.

If you want to support our effort to support the Charlotte running community, our annual membership fee is $20 a year for individuals, $30 for family, and $15 for Seniors & students. Your membership fee directly supports events held throughout the year by volunteers.
