Love to run? Love to read? Do both!

Love to run? Love to read? Do both! Join fellow Charlotte Run Club members in the fourth meeting of our Running Book Club. Every other month we read a different book focused around running then meet for an (optional) run followed by a discussion of the book over food and beverage. Join the Running Book Club facebook group for discussion in between meets: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CRCRunningBookClub/

For September our book will be “Eat & Run” a memoir by Scott Jurek, one of the world's top Ultra Runners and noted Vegan. This book is available on Amazon in all (including audio) formats!

https://www.amazon.com/Eat-Run-Unlikely-Ultramarathon-Greatness/dp/0544002318

We will have an urban run but in accordance with the book our venue will be a raw and vegan eatery!

We will have a pick your own distance/pace run on the "rail trail" starting from the Atherton Mill parking lot in front of Living Kitchen (formerly Luna's Living Kitchen) in Southend.

4 mile Route is here, but you can cut it in half for 2 miles easily: https://www.strava.com/routes/9689202

Meet in front of Luna's Living Kitchen and we walk from there to the Light Rail entrance at 12. After the run we will all meet back at Luna's by 1 for the discussion. I will provide a few small appetizers as usual courtesy of the Charlotte Running Club (and you can get yourself drinks and/or lunch). Luna's closes at 3 on Sunday so please try to time yourself appropriately if you run so we can be seated right at 1 and have enough time to order and discuss.
